CEEPUS & Visegrad Fund

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a similar programme to ERASMUS+, but connecting countries mainly of Central and Eastern Europe and Balkans and focusing on regional cooperation within the networks of participating universities. Study and research mobilities take place in so-called thematic networks with specific partners or it is also possible to apply for individual mobility (the freemover format) to any university participating in the CEEPUS programme. Financial support is provided by the National CEEPUS Office (NCO) of host countries.

The programme has its own platform: www.ceepus.info. The submission of the application and other documents during and after the mobility is handled entirely via the platform.

Conditions valid for students of all study cycles:

Students must be enrolled in a full-time study program (Bachelor, Master or PhD.).
It is not possible to apply for a scholarship to the student’s country of citizenship.
The student must be a citizen of a CEEPUS member country or have an Equal Status (a residence permit in a CEEPUS member country).
No age restrictions.

Bachelor-level and Master-level students	14 000 CZK
Doctoral-level students	15 000 CZK

The International Visegrad Fund is an international organization established in 2000 by the governments of the Visegrad Group countries – Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia (V4 countries).

The International Visegrad Fund offers a large number of scholarships open to citizens of V4 countries and a number of selected non-V4 countries. Aside from citizens of the V4 countries, the programme is open to citizens of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine.

Scholarships are designed for students at the Master’s or post-Master’s level and are intended for study or research projects abroad. All applicants must have completed at least four semesters of university at the time of applying.
