Candidates who have passed the admission procedure and have received a decision on admission to study can enrol for study. By enrolling for study they become students of FA CU.
Organization of enrolment:
- All students may enrol in the study remotely by submitting an application for remote enrolment from 21. 7. 2025 till 17. 9. 2025 through the Student Information System (SIS) of the Charles University.
- For organisational reasons, enrolment may take place no earlier than the day after the student receives the decision on admission to study. The decision on admission to study is issued only after the receipt of documents on previous education and their processing by the faculty.
Online enrollment
From 21. 7. 2025 to 18. 9. 2025, applications for remote enrollment can be submitted through the UK study information system. Remote enrollment takes place according to this manual.
Remote enrollment can be utilized by applicants who have succeeded in the admission process and have received a decision on acceptance to study.
Students will be able to download the confirmation of study from the Study Information System (SIS) or pick it up physically during office hours at the PhD Studies Office.
Onsite enrollment
Applicants who are unable to provide proof of their previous education by 18. 9. 2025, will be able to enroll in person no later than 22. 10. 2025, during office hours at the PhD Studies Office.
IIt is necessary to bring the following documents:
- Valid identity card (students from the Czech Republic and EU countries) or passport (students from non-EU countries)
- Decision on admission (it is not necessary to bring it with you, you must already have the decision delivered by mail or electronically)
- Signed Notice relating to safety and fire protection
- Signed matriculation oath
- During in-person registration, students will receive a confirmation of their studies.
If all required documents are not submitted, enrolment cannot be completed.
After enrolment, students are required to:
- Activate their account in the computer system and log in to the Student Information System – SIS (graduates of the Faculty of Arts will still have access under the current access data until the date of expiration).
- Fill in the information about the dissertation topic using this form.
- Create an ORCID ID (only recommended)
