Two Academic Groups from CU FA Are Successful in the Competition The University Research Centers (UNCE)

The competition is aimed at supporting young promising academics and researchers in the framework of the highest quality group basic research. Amongst them are now projects by the main researcher Prof Miroslav Petříček from the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at CU FA and Prof Václav Cvrček from the Institute of the Czech National Corpus.

Young Academics from Abroad May Apply for up to a Two-Year Stay at CU FA through JUNIOR Fund

The goal of the JUNIOR Fund is to attract prospective international post-doc researchers, who will carry out research within a specific field. The main initiative is always on the relevant establishment or a faculty or other unit of CU that is interested in researching a particular research project.

Eight PhD Students of CU FA Received Anglo-Czech Educational Fund Scholarship

The scholarships enable PhD students and young researchers to spend part of their studies at prestigious universities in the United Kingdom. This exceptional support helps to connect young humanities scholars with world-class institutions.

EEA grants allow Czech students and academics to work and study in otherwise expensive destinations

Over the past four years, the Faculty of Arts, Charles University has participated in European Economic Area (EEA) grant projects which have given dozens of our students and employees the opportunity to travel for work or study in Norway and Iceland. As the last two mobility projects of this type will be coming to an end in August, we would like to offer the following overview of their realization.
