The Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Charles University has been awarded the French title of Knight of the National Order of Merit. She received it on 6 March from His Excellency Stéphane Crouzat, Ambassador of France to the Czech Republic.

Charles University Coordinates the Initial Phase of Research into the Colonial Histories of Universities
Charles University has secured funding for an ambitious project called „Colonial Legacies of Universities: Materialities and New Collaborations“ (COLUMN). This initiative is co-financed by the EU Horizon Europe Programme and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research, and Innovation (SERI). The first phase will be coordinated by Prof. Markéta Křížová from CU FA.
Latin Medieval Studies Represented Faculty of Arts, Charles University, in the USA
The packed programme on the East Coast of the United States included a series of lectures, roundtables, and workshops that strengthened and opened new opportunities for mutual cooperation. The faculty was represented by Prof Lucie Doležalová and Dr Karel Pacovský and students Martin Roček, Jakub Kozák, and Ondřej Fúsik.
Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Discussed Further Cooperation at Brown University
A series of meetings at the partner Brown University were held on 14–18 October 2024 by a delegation of members of the College led by Dr Eva Lehečková, Dean of CU FA. The visit took place on the occasion of the renewal and extension of the Cooperation Agreement between Brown University and Charles Unviversity.
A Gift Marks the Beginning of a Cooperation between the Department of Sinology at CU FA and Leiden University
At the end of the international Prague Summer School of Chinese Poetry, organized by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation International Sinology Centre att Charles University in early September, Prof Maghiel van Crevel from the University of Leiden presented Dr Šárka Masárová with a precious gift for the library of the Department of Sinology at CU FA.
