The DALC Christmas Charity Book Exchange is an opportunity to:
- donate books you no longer need
- have a pick of those donated by others
- obtain selected books and journals published by DALC
- eat some Christmas sweets in good company
- contribute to a worthy charity project
The proceeds will be donated to the campaign “Skutečný dárek / Real Gift“, run by People in Need (Člověk v tísni). The “real gifts” include books for children who have little or no access to reading materials, saplings for farmers fighting erosion and drought, sanitary products for women from developing countries, or stoves and fuel for war refugees.
