Job title: Lecturer
Field and specialization: Ukrainian Studies
Expected pay group: AP2
Half-time position (20 hours per week)
Job description:
- teaching within the applicant’s specialization, primarily B.A. and M.A. level courses will be expected
- supervision of students’ projects and theses
- conducting independent research program within the applicant’s areas of expertise
- development of projects with external funding, aiming toward strengthening international cooperation
- Coordination and support of projects with Ukrainian institutions in Western Europe and the United States and with universities in Ukraine
Job requirements:
- M.A. in the specialization East European Studies, History, Cultural Studies, Political Sciences or related programs with perspective to finish the Ph.D. studies during 2020
- excellent knowledge of Ukrainian language
- ability to teach in at least one world language is advantage (English, Russian, French, or German language)
- adequate publication record in the field of specialization
- organizational and administrative skills
- knowledge of Czech language (speaking and writing)
