All persons present at the main building of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (nám. Jana Palacha 1/2, Prague 1) have to attend the drill. The other faculty buildings, where the planned teaching takes place, are not affected. The duration of the event is expected to be 20–30 minutes.

The Operation of the Building in Na Příkopě 29 Will Be Limited
Due to an energy-saving reason, the operation of the Česká Spořitelna building will be reduced from 23 December 2022 to 12 February 2023. Though only slightly heated, its premises will remain accessible. Employees may briefly come in to deal with paperwork, but staying there throughout the working hours will not be possible due to the cold temperature.
Closure of Libraries on 18 November
On Friday 18 November the libraries located in the main building will be closed. The libraries in the Celetná building will be open during their standard opening hours. The day before, Thursday 17 November, all libraries will be closed.
The Dean of CU FA Announces a Dean’s Day on 19 October
All classes at CU FA are cancelled from 4 pm due to the presentation of candidates to the Student Council of CU FA. The election will be held from 20 October at 12:00 noon to 21 October at 11:59 pm. The right to vote and to be elected has every student of CU FA
Construction in Passageway at the Main Building of the Faculty
From 30 September to 3 October 2022, construction work will take place in the passageway of the faculty’s main building (Valentýnská street exit). No persons or vehicles will be allowed entry during this period.
