Aimed at doctoral candidates of all fields. Can be applied for short-term research stays (1 – 3 months) or for bi-national supervison of doctoral thesis (cotutelle).
Application deadline is 29 January 2026.

The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic is designed to support the mobility of foreign students, PhD students and university teachers, researchers and artists for stays at Slovak universities and research organisations.
Regular application deadlines:
- 31 October at 4 pm – for stays in the summer term of the current academic year
- 30 April at 4 pm – or stays in the following academic year
