4EU+ FUTURE PhD Conference Sustainability Transitions
- 23-26 November 2026 – Villa Vigoni, Italy
- objective: to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and provide a platform for presenting innovative research focused on the challenges and opportunities associated with the transition to sustainability
- brainstorming on the upcoming 4EU+ joint bachelor’s program in Sustainability Transitions
- CU may send two doctoral students, who will receive a mobility grant
Application deadline: 1 September 2026
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers research grants for PhD students or early-career postdocs (for a minimum of 2 months). Funding is available for stays scheduled to begin in February 2027.

The Karel Výborný Foundation Fund
- financial support of short-term study trips abroad – conference, summer schools, research stays at universities and institutes
Deadline: 10 July 2026 (this offer is expected to be repeated on a regular basis)
The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic is designed to support the mobility of foreign students, PhD students and university teachers, researchers and artists for stays at Slovak universities and research organisations.
Regular application deadlines:
- 31 October at 4 pm – for stays in the summer term of the current academic year
- 30 April at 4 pm – or stays in the following academic year
