Online course: Planning, Supporting, and Evaluating Research-Based Learning

  • the course is available online for free
  • prerequisite: to participate, you must be actively involved in specific research-related teaching; a realistic, research-oriented teaching project that can be planned, revised, and discussed is therefore required

Online Workshop: Supervising the Doctorate

  • organizer: Universität Heidelberg
  • Kick-Off: 8 July 2026 2 – 4 pm
  • self-learning phase accompanied by two open online consultations (15 and 22 July 2026 2-3 pm)
  • Send-Off: 29 July 2026 2 – 4 pm
  • the course is available online for free
  • prerequisite: participants should already have experience of supervising students working on their theses, ideally doctoral or MA students

Registration until 26 June 2026.


Universität Zürich – UZH Global Funding Scheme  

  • developing and implementing joint initiatives with international partners that advance the objectives of the UZH Global Strategy 2030
  • intended for all joint initiatives between CU and UZH, as well as for establishing new international partnerships
  • the main applicant must be affiliated with UZH

Three possible funding lines:

  • Global Outreach Fund: grant of CHF 5,000
  • Global Seed Fund: grant of CHF 5,000
  • Global Champion Fund: grant of CHF 20,000 to 60,000

Deadline: 31 July 2026


Fund for the Support of Strategic Partnerships – Call for proposals 2026/27

  • continuation and expansion of cooperation with the CU existing strategic partners – the University of Zurich, Macquarie University and the University of St Andrews
  • establishment and development of cooperation with new partner institutions in Taiwan – National Taiwan University (NTU) a National Chengchi University (NCCU)
  • applicants must be academic staff members employed by CU with a minimum workload of 0.5 FTE
