Online Workshop: Supervising the Doctorate

- self-learning phase accompanied by two open online consultations (15 and 22 July 2026 2-3 pm)

- prerequisite: participants should already have experience of supervising students working on their theses, ideally doctoral or MA students

Universität Zürich – UZH Global Funding Scheme
- developing and implementing joint initiatives with international partners that advance the objectives of the UZH Global Strategy 2030
- intended for all joint initiatives between CU and UZH, as well as for establishing new international partnerships
- the main applicant must be affiliated with UZH
Three possible funding lines:
- Global Outreach Fund: grant of CHF 5,000
- Global Seed Fund: grant of CHF 5,000
- Global Champion Fund: grant of CHF 20,000 to 60,000

Fund for the Support of Strategic Partnerships – Call for proposals 2026/27
- continuation and expansion of cooperation with the CU existing strategic partners – the University of Zurich, Macquarie University and the University of St Andrews
- establishment and development of cooperation with new partner institutions in Taiwan – National Taiwan University (NTU) a National Chengchi University (NCCU)
- applicants must be academic staff members employed by CU with a minimum workload of 0.5 FTE
