The EDUROAM wireless network is a university and scientific network to which students and staff of most of the European universities and research centres can connect using the login details they received at their home university.

Login details

You may set your login details with your user account in the Charles University Authentication Service in “Other accounts” section under “Set password for eduroam realm cuni.cz.”

Instructions for connecting to the EDUROAM WiFi network

To connect to the EDUROAM network, you can use the CAT tool (Windows 10, Android 4,3 a vyšší, Apple iOS, Apple OS X).

The IT Services office oversees the operation of the EDUROAM system and resolves connectivity related problems and issues with devices belonging to CU FA. The IT Services office is not obliged to solve issues with private devices.

Most of the corridors of the main building of CUFA, as well as some of the rooms in Celetná and in Spork Palace (Hybernská), are covered by the wireless network. If there is no signal in the room where you work, you may send an email at lvt@ff.cuni.cz and we will take the location into account in future improvements of the coverage; however, we cannot guarantee an exact date.

All staff and members of the CU academia or other university or research institution involved in the EDUROAM project can use the wireless network connection at CU FA.

This network is intended for the participants of conferences. The staff may find information about setting up this network for the participants of conferences in the Faculty’s intranet.

For other guests at FA, it is possible to connect to this network by entering your phone number and then you will receive an SMS with password.
