The Best Practices and Experience in Countering Foreign Interference in U.S. Academia

Charles University co-organises the conference with the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, Palacký University Olomouc, and U.S. Embassy Prague. It is the first and unique event of its kind not only in the Czech Republic but also in the Central and Eastern Europe that discusses issue of a harmful exercise of foreign powers, its impact on society, and potential international problems.

The conference will be held in English on Tuesday, 17 January 2023 in the historical building of Carolinum, Ovocný trh 3, Prague 1.

During the morning session, Dr. Tiffert and Dr. Gamache will demonstrate foreign threats in academic research and will present the best practices in CFI and lessons learnt from U.S. academia. This session is open for all who are interested in CFI in academia. You can register here.
