Falling Walls Lab Prague, Czech Republic 2026 – International competition for young scientists and innovators

  • any topic across all disciplines
  • presentations will be delivered in English in a “pitch-talk” format – maximum three minutes
  • students at all levels

The Czech final of the international Falling Walls project will take place on 15 September 2026, at 5:00 PM at the National Technical Library in Prague.

The application deadline is 30 June 2026.

SDG Innovation Challenge 2026 – UN Sustainable Development Goals

  • students work for 5 days in multidisciplinary teams to design solutions to real‑world sustainability challenges linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • challenge: Kibera, Africa’s largest informal settlement – case provider is 100% for the Children, a Danish NGO working to improve the lives of children and young people in Kibera
  • when: 20 – 24 August 2026
  • where: the University of Copenhagen Lighthouse
  • CU can support participation of 5 students – selected participants will have their travel expenses covered and receive a living allowance
