The Faculty of Arts, Charles University, invites you to a workshop by Dr Aleksandra Holubowitz from Language Centre at CU FA with her friends that will take place on Thursday, 15 June 2023, from 6 pm at the main building of CU FA in room P300. The workshop is organised as part of the Pride Month lecture series at CU FA.
The workshop will be dedicated to what the + might refer to. We will mainly talk to people who identify as non-binary and how this identity differs from queer or transgender. We hope to offer room for sharing individual experience as well as discussing the general situation of the „+“ and transgender people in the Czech Republic and selected Central-Eastern European countries, including Slovakia and Poland. We invite anyone who feels they would like to get to know more about the issue or those who are knowledgeable and/or identify as „+“ and feel comfortable to offer their perspective.
