Coronavirus Testing for the Students and Employees of Charles University

The Institute of Immunology and Microbiology at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, in cooperation with General University Hospital tests students and employees of Charles University and their close relatives on the presence of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

Egyptian Pharaohs in Prague!

Finds from the Czech archaeological campaigns in Abusir together with numerous other artefacts of unprecedented historical and artistic value have finally arrived in Prague. Starting 31 August 2020, they will be on display at the National Museum as part of a large exhibition titled Kings of the Sun. The exhibition is co-organized by Czech Institute of Egyptology.

Dr Petra Johana Poncarová has been elected depute convenor for Europe of the International Association for the Study of Scottish Literatures
for the period 2020-2023.
The IASSL is a global association for the study of Scottish Literatures. Its aim is to extend and expand the reach of Scottish literature and to promote Scottish studies globally in research, networking, and academic exchange. The IASSL acts as the steering group for the World Congress of Scottish Literatures, held every three years.
