ENEOLI 3rd General Meeting comes to Prague

The YRI session is open to emerging researchers in neology under the age of 40. It combines one-minute pitches with poster presentations, covering three types of contributions: planned work, work in progress, and completed studies. The session is designed to foster exchange of ideas, collaborative discussion, and constructive feedback, offering young researchers a valuable opportunity to connect with the wider ENEOLI network and contribute to advancements in neology research.

The art exhibition „Lexical Innovation in Motion: From Tuesday Neologisms to Artistic Expression“ grows out of ENEOLI’s popular #tuesdayneologism campaign, a science communication initiative that has featured over 100 neologisms across more than a dozen languages and was recognized by the COST Association in March 2025 as a best practice example in dissemination. Originally conceived by Corina Veleanu, conceptualized by Adrian Majuru, and curated by Roxana Barbu, the exhibition takes the campaign a step further, translating new words into visual art. The artworks are created by Group A21+, a collective of Romanian painters and visual artists based in Bucharest, bringing a striking creative dimension to the study of lexical innovation.

Both the YRI session and the exhibition are open to members of the faculty community and all those interested in the intersection of language, creativity, and research.
