The first drill takes place on Wednesday, 26. 11. 2025, at the Sweerts-Sporck Palace, starting at 10:00 AM. The second drill will take place a week later, on Wednesday, 3. 12. 2025, also starting at 10:00 AM, in the main CU FA building at Jan Palach Square.
A fire simulation will be conducted in the building. The drill is estimated to take approximately 45 minutes. An information page with all the details and necessary instructions can be found in the intranet.
The aim of the drill is to verify the correctness of the prepared procedures, the functionality of technical elements, the readiness of fire patrols and other staff responsible for evacuation, the activation of the crisis warning system. This year, the fire drill at the Faculty of Arts will be led methodically and organizationally by the Security Department of the Rectorate of Charles University, in cooperation with the faculty safety manager.
Crisis intervention staff will be available on-site for any who would feel uncomfortable before or during the drill.
