The Faculty of Arts Press produces scholarly monographs in Czech and foreign languages, textbooks, and academic journals across the humanities. Its work adheres to rigorous quality-control standards overseen by the Faculty Editorial Board and a large body of domestic and international reviewers.

It is responsible for:

• implementing the editorial plan,
• producing publications and journals,
• storage and distribution, including mandatory legal deposit and fulfilment of statutory distribution requirements,
• managing ISBN, ISSN, and DOI assignments,
• integrating faculty journals into scholarly and other indexing databases,
• operating the online bookstore,
• administering copyright rules related to works created by employees and other works published by or in cooperation with the Faculty.
