Kang-i Sun Chang’s Memories of “White Terror” in Taiwan

The Czech translation of the autobiography Cesta bílým terorem (Journey Through the White Terror) by Kang-i Sun Chang, a world-renown sinologist, has been published. The book recalls the period of persecutions in post-war Taiwan by giving the account of stormy family history with a preface by Prof Olga Lomová from CU FA.

After almost two years and eight months of intensive implementation, Central Libray of Charles University has launched a modern library platform Alma. It unifies all previous library systems and significantly simplifies and quickens the use of offered services.
