The twelfth season of the conference revolves around the following theme: Africa and (the Other) Europe: Imageries – Discourses – Exchanges. It will be held at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, on 15-17 September.

Kang-i Sun Chang’s Memories of “White Terror” in Taiwan
The Czech translation of the autobiography Cesta bílým terorem (Journey Through the White Terror) by Kang-i Sun Chang, a world-renown sinologist, has been published. The book recalls the period of persecutions in post-war Taiwan by giving the account of stormy family history with a preface by Prof Olga Lomová from CU FA.
