The Prague City Council and the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, have joined forces in order to create a unique campus in the very heart of the Old Town in Prague that would connect creative industries, arts, and the academic community. The campus is open to students, staff, and the public.
The large complex of seven houses in Hybernská street has been gradually restored and the works will continue in the future in order to use the full potential of the space. At the moment, Campus Hybernská has a cafe, several lecture rooms, a small cinema, a bar with a music stage, a separate house for student clubs and associations, an art studio, and an exhibition space. Its programme includes conferences, festivals, concerts, exhibitions, discussions, film screenings, and much more.
