Michail Theodosiadis is the Public Relations and Communications Manager of the Early Modern Greek Culture Program. He has worked as a lecturer and module leader in Newham College, London, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects with emphasis on political theory, international relations and qualitative research methods. He is one of the founding members of the Greek political magazine Res Publica. Michail has received his PhD from Goldsmiths, University of London. His doctoral dissertation entitled “Republican Views on Populism, above Christopher Lasch” is based on an interdisciplinary research project that draws upon political theory, philosophy, history, religion and literature. He has published articles in international peer-reviewed journals (Polis, Comparative Political Theory, Dia-noesis: A Journal of Philosophy and Theologia) and he has participated in several conferences on political theory and the Byzantine world. His post-doctoral research focuses on the republican elements of Byzantine political culture, on the eleventh century Byzantine humanism and, finally, on the influences in Renaissance Italy. He is currently involved in research projects focused on the influence of the Greek diaspora in Central Europe.
