Karen Fishman: Behind the scene from Library of Congress

Department of Information Studies and Librarianship, Faculty of Arts, Charles University and Czech Information Society is happy to announce a lecture with Karen Fishman called Behind the scene from Library of Congress. Karen Fishman is supervisor for the Recorded Sound Research Center and the Motion Picture and Television Research Center at the Library of Congress. She previously was archivist for the Architect of the Capitol and the University of Maryland’s Library of American Broadcasting. She currently serves as co-chair of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) Education and Training Committee and co-president of ARSC’s DC chapter.

The lecture will take place on 17 October 2016, 2.00 pm, Room 2015, Faculty of Arts, Charles University, U Kříže 8, Prague 5 – Jinonice.
