Czech Pre-Presidency Conference of the European Union

In July this year, the Czech Republic will take over the Presidency of the Council of the EU. What are the priorities the Czech Republic will promote during the six-month presidency? Institute of International Relations Prague together with the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) cordially invites you to the conference that is to be held on 23–24 May 2022 in Czernin Palace at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Loretánské náměstí 5, Prague 1.

The conference will bring together academics, policy-makers, media, and civil society in order to discuss the agenda and challenges of the upcoming presidency. More specifically, the conference will assess the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war on the future of European security as well as explore a number of other key issues, such as the significance of the recent political reshuffle in Central Europe, the recommendations of the Conference on the Future of Europe as well as the new challenges to the Green Deal initiative.
