Student society Schwa and the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at CU FA organize traditional Charity Book Sale. Anyone who wishes to donate their books may do so on 5–7 December in the English and Romance Studies Library (room P107) in its opening hours (from 9:15 am to 4:45 pm). The sale will take place on 8 December from 2 pm to 7 pm in front of the room P104 at the main building of the faculty. All money raised will be donated to multiple causes provided by the People in Need charity (Člověk v tísni).
All kinds and genres of books are welcome, academic and non-academic, in English or any other language.
On the day of the sale, there will be some refreshments from 5:30 pm – mulled wine and biscuits.
