Helen Leslie Jacobsenis from the Norwegian Bergen. The main focus of her research are issues related to the translation of medieval Scandinavian texts, Old Norse law books, narrative techniques in Old Norse literature, and Faerse ballads (especially of the Völsung Cycle)
