The Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Supports the Persecuted Minorities in East Turkestan and Tibet

The Faculty of Arts, Charles University, publicly disapproves the decision of the International Olympic Committee to entrust the organization of this year’s Winter Olympic Games to a country infamous for violations of human civil rights, oppression of ethnic and religious minorities, and disrespect for international agreements. For the duration of the Beijing Olympics (4–20 February 2022), CU FA displays the flags of Tibet and East Turkestan (Uyghurs) on its main building to show support for the persecuted minorities.
