On 13 February 2019, Her Excellency, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, Ms Ureerat Chareontoh, met with the Faculty of Arts dean doc. Michal Pullmann to discuss further cooperation. Cooperation between Thailand and the Faculty of Arts should provide a broader selection of guest lectures by Thai experts at the faculty and scholarships enabling participation of CUFA students at summer schools in Thailand. The Embassy of Thailand also donated a selection of publications to the Faculty of Arts library.
At the moment, CUFA provides courses of Thai for beginners and intermediate learners, taught by Ms Pattarawan Youyen from the Department of East Asian Studies.
