The programme of the celebrations includes exhibition launch, international conference Taiwan Cinema and Cultural Dynamics, small film festival, and lectures by the vice-president of the Academia Sinica prof. Huang Chin-shing and the president of the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation prof. Chu Yun-han. The film director Hou Hsiao-hsien (City of Sadness, Millenium Mambo, Assassin) and the writer and screenwriter Chu Tien-wen are coming to Prague as guests of honour.
