East and Central European Studies (ECES) Program Receives AIFS Award

The Faculty of Arts is pleased to announce a recent award given to the East and Central European Studies (ECES) program by way of its long-time partner, the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS). ECES was named the 3rd most popular study abroad program on GoAbroad.com for the year 2016. International Relations Office of the Faculty of Arts and the Academic Board of the program provide the administrative and academic portion of this program hosting approximately 250 students annually, mostly from the United States, Canada and Singapore. The program offers courses in the fall, spring and summer terms with small class sizes to ensure an enhanced learning experience. Students may choose courses in the fields of literature, art and culture, history, sociology and psychology, economics and politics, and languages.  We are excited by the interest of these students in studying at FFUK, as well as their satisfaction with their studies in Prague. We look forward to future collaboration both with AIFS and all of our foreign partners.
