Lecture by Professor Michael Sandel in Prague

One of the most influential contemporary philosophers and Professor of Government Theory at Harvard University, Michael Sandel, is coming to Prague to give a lecture entitled What Money Can’t Buy: The Moral Limits of Markets. His publications include What Money Can’t Buy: The Moral Limits of Markets; Liberalism and the Limits of Justice; Democracy’s Discontent; The Case against Perfection: Ethics in the Age of Genetic Engineering, and many others.

The lecture shall take place on Monday 18 April 2016 at 18:00 at the Faculty of Law, Charles University (nám. Curieových 7, Prague 1).

This unique event is organised by Charles University in cooperation with the student society Agora, Faculty of Education CU, Faculty of Law CU, Faculty of Arts CU, and Faculty of Social Sciences CU.

The lecture and the following discussion shall be held in English.
